Summerfields is Waterford’s newest planned ‘urban village’. Within walking distance to the city’s main educational and employment centres, WIT and the IDA industrial park, its aspect is onto the rolling landscape of the surrounding countryside.

We are delighted to see the first phase of Summerfields, Elder Walk has been shortlisted for the Housing Project of the Year (Large) for the Building & Architect of the Year Awards 2024!

Summerfields is to be delivered in 12 phases of no more than 100 homes in each. Each phase will have its own identity, theme and centralised open space, to give the homeowner a sense of place within their own community.

The first phase of new homes is to commence in the coming months and will offer homes suitable for young professionals, newly weds to larger families looking to upsize and upgrade.

40 homes are set to be developed between phases 1 & 2 which are expected to be ready for occupation in Spring 2023.

The remainder of the initial 92 houses will be delivered throughout another 3 phases in 2023.
